Description of the Ministry
The goal of our Jr High Ministry is to see Jr. High students THRIVE in their relationship with Jesus. We believe that 12-14 year olds don't have to just survive Jr. High, but with Jesus they can THRIVE! Following Jesus' two great commandments in Matthew 22:37-39, we encourage the students to LOVE JESUS and LIVE JESUS. This is what will lead to them becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ. How do we accomplish this? Through a variety of ways including:
• Teaching the Bible and applying it to the students' every day lives
• Fellowship with one another and time spent together in prayer
• Engaging times of worship and observing communion
• A dependency on the Holy Spirit in all things
Meeting Times and Locations
SUNDAY MORNINGS
8:30 am – Jr. High meet in the Jr. High room.
10:45 am – Jr. High meet in the Jr. High room.
SUNDAY NIGHTS - Jr. High students attend the main Bible Study in the sanctuary
WEDNESDAY NIGHT 6:30 -8:00
Jr. High meets in the Jr. High Room. This is where we come together for a time of worship, Bible study, fellowship and small groups (small groups are broken up by gender).
